As you may have read in the descriptions on the individual camera pages, these videos are created by compiling weathercam snapshots into video format. I've written scripts that are ran at various times thoughout the day, depending on the type of video. The 'Previous Day' video covers only the daylight hours. From time to time I miss some pretty cool lightning images, but omitting night time frames makes the size of the video much smaller. It's a trade off, but I think it's the more efficient way to go.

If you are new to this site, you will notice the addition of a new video, 'Last Hour'.I think this will be a cool feature as it will allow you to actually see some weather video for the current day.

Behind the scenes, I have began to change the way the videos are named. The plan here is to be able to offer videos from previous days or hours. I'm not sure how much of an archive that I will be able to offer, but this will be a feature that I hope to bring online soon.
